For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed Sept. 23-24 under the direction of Richard Stewart, director of the Lucas County Canine Care & Control:

Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:

English setter, white and black male, unlicensed; bite history; surrendered Sept. 14 by Stephen Curry, Obee Road, Waterville Township.

“Pit bull,” brown and white female, unlicensed; aggressive/unsafe; stray picked up Sept. 18 by a control officer at 534 Starr Ave., Toledo.

“Pit bull,” tan and white female, unlicensed; charging outdoor gate and biting kennel door when other dogs pass by; confiscated Sept. 18 by Toledo police from 1021 Wardell St., Toledo, after owner died.

Chihuahua, white and tan female, unlicensed; bite history; surrendered Sept. 19 by Suzanne Ralston, West Woodside Terrace, Springfield Township.

“Pit bull,” tan and white male, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (aggressive/unsafe); surrendered Sept. 24 by James Cooper, Hanover Street, Toledo.

Boxer, black and white female, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (13 years old, vomiting, tumors); surrendered Sept. 24 by Rachel Goney, Spencer Street, Toledo.

Boxer, brown and white male, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (elderly, arthritic); surrendered Sept. 24 by Bylvia Boykin, West Poinsetta Avenue, Toledo.
