Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:
“Pit bull,” gray female, licensed; failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression (immediately jumped on and growled at another dog in playgroup Oct. 2); surrendered Sept. 24 by Kodey Gross, Keil Road, Toledo.
“Pit bull” mix, black and white female, unlicensed; failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression (nervous, hair and tail up, moving slow and stiff, flashing teeth, and growling in playgroup Oct. 2); stray taken to shelter Sept. 28 by Toledo police from the 1300 block of Fitchland Avenue, Toledo.
