Dunbridge Road south of State Rt. 582 in Dunbridge has reopened after a three-year closure of the bridge near the CSX railroad tracks.

The bridge, which cost $450,000 to repair, was built in 1910.

Factors in the length of the repair included that the bridge is on CSX property, the necessity to move a house and relocate a family, and the bridge closing at the end of a construction season, Wood County Engineer Ray Huber said. “Everything we did had to be approved by the railroad,” he said.

Dunbridge is an unincorporated community in eastern Middleton Township in Wood County.
