Judge sets bond in shooting case

A Toledo man appeared in Toledo Municipal Court this week to face charges in connection with a shooting in October, as well as to be sentenced on other charges from a year ago.

Anthony Hunt, 22, of 1154 Vance St. appeared before Judge Michael Goulding for the Oct. 28 shooting of Dale Wyse, 28. His bond was set at $300,000 for two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of felonious assault.

The other charges are from December, 2011, and include three counts of aggravated menacing, two counts of disorderly conduct, criminal damaging, reckless violation of a protection order, and menacing.

Mr. Hunt, for two counts each of aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct, was sentenced to 360 days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio; with jail credits, his sentence was reduced to 299 days.

For the charges of criminal damaging, recklessly violating a protection order, aggravated menacing, and menacing, his total bond was set at $9,000.
