For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.
The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Border collie, black and white male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because dog had advanced heartworm, surrendered by Kelley Snapp, Huntington Road, Sylvania.
Shih Tzu/poodle mix, gray and white male, unlicensed, fearful/unsafe, Ewing Street, Toledo, running at large.
Wire fox terrier, tan and white female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because dog had difficulty getting up and tried to bite, Lagrange Street, Toledo, running at large.
Cairn terrier, tan and white female, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because dog had been hit by car and was paralyzed, Gladstone Avenue, Toledo.
