    Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:

    “Pit bull” mix, brown and white female, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (tumor, dog aggression); surrendered Nov. 7 by Brenda Singer, Winchester Road, Toledo.

    Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever mix, orange male, unlicensed; tried to bite veterinary staff; stray taken to shelter Oct. 20 by Kenneth Fincham, Plum Leaf Lane, Toledo, from Plum Leaf Lane, Toledo.

    “Pit bull,” brown female, unlicensed; failed behavior evaluation/​dog aggression (tried to attack another dog in playgroup Nov. 6); stray taken to shelter Oct. 29 by Toledo police from Ottawa Drive and Auburn Avenue, Toledo.

    Rottweiler, black and tan female, unlicensed; veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (hit by a car, severe open femur fracture, underweight); stray picked up Nov. 7 by a control officer on North Summit Street, Toledo.

    Labrador retriever, chocolate male, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (13 years old, tumors, losing weight, incontinent, weak and painful); surrendered Nov. 7 by Teena Clark, Navarre Avenue, Oregon.

    Siberian husky, gray and white female, unlicensed; veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (bleeding from mouth, pawing at mouth, nails grown into pads, muscle-wasted, large and bleeding necrotic mass in mouth filling 75 to 80 percent of oral cavity and occluding throat); stray taken to shelter Nov. 7 by Tony Walker, Martha Avenue, Toledo, from Martha Avenue, Toledo.

    “Pit bull,” white and brown male, unlicensed; failed behavior evaluation/​dog aggression (stiff, growls, and charging dogs during playgroup Nov. 7); stray picked up Nov. 2 by a control officer at 618 Earl St., Toledo.
