Dogs killed Oct. 23 under the direction of Richard Stewart, director of the Lucas County Canine Care & Control:

Breed and description; reason; intake type and date with location found if stray. Dogs killed for poor behavior on body-handling and resource-guarding assessments are scored on a scale of 5, with higher scores being more aggressive. Dog-aggression assessments are not scored:

“Pit bull,” brown and white female, unlicensed; veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (dermatitis, losing weight rapidly, vomiting, cough and increased lung sounds, not eating, no energy, not getting up, weak and shaking, worsening condition, very poor prognosis); surrendered Oct. 12 by Michelle Carter, Primrose Avenue, Toledo.

Boxer mix, black and white male, unlicensed; aggressive/unsafe; stray picked up Oct. 18 by a control officer at 1659 Palmwood Ave., Toledo.

Labrador retriever mix, black male, unlicensed; owner requested euthanasia (disc issues, cannot walk, painful); surrendered Oct. 23 by Jesse Johnson, Carver Boulevard, Toledo.
