Napoleon man indicted in cocaine ring case

5/8/2004

BOWLING GREEN - A Napoleon man has been indicted by a Wood County grand jury for his alleged role in a cocaine ring for which six others already have been charged.

Ashley Kruse, 22, was indicted this week on three counts of trafficking in cocaine with specifications and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. He is to be arraigned May 18 before Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Pollex.

The indictment alleges Mr. Kruse sold cocaine in Wood County at various times in February and March and that he supplied and delivered cocaine to others who sold it in Wood County and other parts of northwest Ohio.

Benjamin Snyder, 24, of Napoleon, and three Bowling Green men - Cody Warren, 23; Tyson Boulton, 24, and Brooks Pedraza, 22 - were arrested last month during a series of drug raids in Bowling Green related to the alleged cocaine ring.
