Multi-vehicle crash snarls I-75 traffic in Monroe

MONROE -- A multiple-vehicle crash restricted the northbound traffic on I-75 in the city of Monroe to one lane today, authorities said. 

There was no word of injuries, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred about 7:35 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate at Front Street, a dispatcher at the office said.

The far left lane remains open, the dispatcher said.

The crash is under investigation.
