Vehicle reported to have driven into pond

A vehicle reportedly drove into Hecklinger Pond off Burger Street in East Toledo late Wednesday, authorities said.

Toledo police and fire crews were called to the scene about 9:05 p.m., and by the time they arrived three people who said they'd been in the vehicle were on land.

Initial reports were that the vehicle veered into the pond as it was cut off by a black truck. 

There were no reports of serious injury.
