Authorities say car-truck crash in Fulton Co. leaves 3 people dead

DELTA, Ohio — Three occupants of a car were pronounced dead after it crashed with a large truck in Fulton County on State Rt. 109 and County Road L, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

The crash in Pike Township, just north of Delta and about a mile north of the Ohio Turnpike, was reported about 4:45 p.m. Thursday.

Authorities were on the scene late Thursday and names of the victims have not been released. They were taken to Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon. The truck driver was not thought to be injured, according to the patrol.

The road was reopened about 8:30 p.m.
