Firefighters responded to a chemical reaction that evacuated University of Toledo's Wolfe Hall, which houses biology, chemistry, and pharmacy department facilities.

Students discovered the chemicals inside a storage cabinet and a Hazmat crew investigated, said Toledo fire Lt. Matthew Hertzfeld.

No one was hospitalized, he said.

Wolfe Hall and adjacent Bowman-Oddy Laboratories will be closed for the rest of the day.
