Three Toledo police officers promoted to sergeant

Three Toledo patrolmen were promoted Thursday to sergeants.

Toledo Police Chief George Kral promoted officers Paul Davis, Kelly Jordan-Tsou, and Robert Reed to their new positions. They will be assigned to field operations. 

Sergeant Davis, 30, was appointed to the department in October 2013. He has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Alabama. During his tenure at the police department, he has worked in field operations and has held the position of field training officer.

Sergeant Jordan-Tsou, 27, was appointed to the Toledo Police Department in September 2012. She received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Tiffin Univeristy. She has worked in field operations and special operations as a member of the Metro Drug Task Force.

Sergeant Reed, 29, joined the police department in October 2013. He has worked in field operations and special operations as a member of the special weapons and tactics unit. He also serves in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. 

Promotions to sergeant involve an examination, interview, and minimum of three years of service.
