A Toledo man wanted for violating parole in a conspiracy to commit murder case was arrested on a robbery charge.

Charles McLennan, 42, of the 500 block of East Broadway Street is charged with robbery in a Nov. 9 offense at 7-Eleven, 1321 Navarre Ave. Toledo police said in court records McLennan knocked a manager to the ground and stole four cans of Red Bull energy drink.

A Toledo Municipal Court just set bond Tuesday at $480,250.

The state's Adult Parole Authority sought McLennan for violating supervision. He was sentenced in October, 2007 to six years in prison for conspiracy to commit aggravated murder in Williams County. McLennan was later required to complete five years of state supervision.

Officials previously said McLennan told another Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio inmate he wanted to have an Oregon woman killed.
