Teen boy in critical condition following West Toledo crash
11/22/2017A teenage Toledo boy is in critical condition after a vehicle hit him in West Toledo.
Keenan Harris, 13, about 7:50 p.m. Tuesday was walking across West Laskey Road near Oakridge Drive. He was struck near the center of the road by a westbound vehicle driven by Susan Trombley, 26, of Toledo, police said.
The Harris youth was taken to ProMedica Toledo Hospital. A hospital spokesman said Wednesday he is in the pediatric intensive care unit.
Officials continue to investigate the crash. Police closed Laskey in both directions for about two hours.
