Sobriety checkpoints in Sylvania, Holland

Authorities will conduct sobriety checkpoints from 8 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday at 4170 S. McCord Rd. in Sylvania and 1220 S. Holland-Sylvania Rd. in Holland.

The checkpoints, funded by a federal grant, will be conducted by the Lucas County Operating Vehicles Intoxicated Task Force, according to a news release.
