  • One woman died after she drove into an intersection and was hit by another vehicle in Oregon.

The crash occurred on Saturday, according to Oregon Police Department. Jean Hatfield, 78, was traveling north on Wynn and stopped at a stop sign at Corduroy Road. She then entered the intersection and was hit by a vehicle traveling east driven by a 17-year-old male from Curtice.

There is no stop sign for traffic on Corduroy Road at that intersection, police said. Mrs. Hatfield was transported to St. Vincent Medical Center where she later died from her injuries. The male driver and his two female juvenile passengers were treated for minor injuries.

    The crash remains under investigation.
