CCNO adds body scanner

STRYKER, Ohio — The Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio added a body scanner Wednesday.

Jail officials said it will provide increased security measures to better detect inmates hiding objects. Board members approved the purchase in February.

The machine costs $145,000 and includes a five-year maintenance agreement.
