Lucas County Board of Elections looking for workers

The Lucas County Board of Elections is looking for registered voters to work as precinct elections officials and seasonal workers.

Those interested must be at least 18, registered voter in the county as a Democratic or Republican, have no felony convictions, and have access to reliable transportation.

Precinct elections officials will work the primary election on May 8, typically from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., set up the night before, and attend a training session. The pay is approximately $185.

The board also needs seasonal workers from March 12 through May 11 to work in the warehouse and board of elections office. Pay starts at $9.20 per hour.
