ProMedica announces new COO

Arturo Polizzi has been named chief operating officer of ProMedica Toledo Hospital and ProMedica Children's Hospital, effective June 17. He is now chief human resources officer for ProMedica.
Arturo Polizzi has been named chief operating officer of ProMedica Toledo Hospital and ProMedica Children's Hospital, effective June 17. He is now chief human resources officer for ProMedica.

ProMedica announced Wednesday that Arturo Polizzi will become the chief operating officer of ProMedica Toledo Hospital and ProMedica Children's Hospital, effective June 17.

In the newly created position, Mr. Polizzi will oversee surgical services, patient care services, ProMedica Wildwood Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital, Center for Health Services, and other support services.

Mr. Polizzi is chief human resources officer for ProMedica. He joined ProMedica in 1998 as associate legal counsel.
