Goddess Spirituality leader here for program on women
6/30/2007Author, priestess, and musician Ruth Barrett will lead a celebration in women s spirituality from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at People Called Women Bookstore, 3153 West Central Ave.
Ms. Barrett is a Dianic priestess, ritualist, and educator, who with her musical partner Cyntia Smith has been a pioneer in the Goddess Spirituality Movement.
She has taught magical and ritual arts at festivals and conferences around the United States, Canada, and Great Britain, and with her life partner Falcon River founded the Temple of Diana religious and educational organization in Monona, Wis.
