Toledo Symphony set for 6 churches in 6 days

Six days, six churches.

As part of its month of concerts in northwest Ohio, the Toledo Symphony will check the acoustics in several sanctuaries.

From Tuesday through Dec. 9, the orchestra will play in a different house of worship every night. The tour started Nov. 25.

This round of performances begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Parish in Maumee, 104 W. Broadway; then continues at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Parish in Sylvania, 5375 S. Main St.; 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Augsburg Lutheran Church, 1342 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo; 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 1690 Sterns Rd., in Temperance; 3:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at Toledo's First Congregational Church, 2315 Collingwood Blvd; and Dec. 9 at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Rd., in Rossford.
