The Blade’s Sept. 11 editorial “HRC, won’t you please go now?” was a saver, so I did.
Now that Hillary Clinton has “gone off” somewhere, I miss reading about the goofy, self-centered things she has said or done recently.
It would be fun if she came out of her closet and loudly started up again, claiming her “entitlements.”
Doesn’t everyone know that being president of the United States is part of her inheritance?

Stay in your seat at the theater
I recently attended a concert at the Stranahan. Why is it that no one can sit for more than two hours without getting up repeatedly?
I realize there are exceptions, but a continuing steady stream? It is very disruptive to the theater experience and rude to the performers.

Girls in Boy Scouts might be a positive thing
Boy Scouts of America will start admitting girls into their organization in 2018. What? Girls can become Cub Scouts and continue on to earn Eagle Scout rank?
At first I felt puzzled and wondered how long this cultural change idea had been on the docket. Then I thought that challenges offered by BSA will appeal to some girls.
I now think that it can be a great opportunity for opposite sexes to work and learn together, get to know each other well, and maybe, who knows, relationships made there will impact positively in future relationships.
I will be watching as this change unfolds, especially how parents of both girls and boys may react.
