One of the two anglers who ended up overboard after their boat flipped was picked up by a passing boat of anglers. Capt. Nah, couldn’t be ... already? Pretty sure it was a tick, but it blew off out the window. I encountered an American dog tick during a stop in Iowa last year. These arachnids also can cause illnesses such as Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and tularemia, or rabbit fever.
