Meiner, McCarver spark Whitmer against Findlay

Whitmer 61, Findlay 51

FINDLAY— The Panthers (4-2, 2-1 TRAC) won on the road in girls basketball behind 14 points from Samantha Meiner and 12 from Shy McCarver.

Jacey Hardesty led the Trojans (1-5, 1-2) with 11 points, while Jenny Vielhaber contributed 10.

 

Rossford 66, Swanton 57

Rossford came out the top dog in the battle of Bulldogs. Julie Hotz scored 21 and Cheyenne Davis added 11 for Rossford.

Kyleigh Ramlow led Swanton with 14 points and Megyn Christiansen had 12.

 

McComb 62, Elmwood 56

BLOOMDALE — Nora Hemminger scored 21 points, Emily Clymer 21, and Brenna Dee 14 to lead the Panthers over the Royals. Samantha Ervin led Elmwood with 19 points, while Kristen Curtis chipped in with 15.

 

Wauseon 58, Stryker 49

WAUSEON — Natalie Koenig poured in 21 points, Sariah Yackee added 14, and Maddie Richer 12 for the Indians.

The Panthers were led by Connor Varner with 25 and Connor Sullivan with 15.
