On senior day, Michigan gets revenge against Ohio State

ANN ARBOR — When Ohio State’s men’s basketball team took the floor Sunday at Crisler Center, Chris de Burgh’s classic hit “Lady in Red” serenaded the Buckeyes, a playful jab that signaled these uneasy neighbors remain estranged.

It continued when the Michigan student section booed former Wolverine-turned-Buckeye Andrew Dakich every time he touched the ball, when the same group of young adults chanted obscenities about the state of Ohio that can’t be printed, and during chippy moments starring the villainous Moritz Wagner.

Sunday was the first time Ohio State and Michigan met as ranked teams since the semifinals of the 2014 Big Ten tournament, a remarkably long pause for two proud programs. But the big-game feel finally returned to the rivalry in a sold-out Crisler Center that was painted maize. FULL STORY

Buckeyes hit rough patch, but aren’t panicking

But now the Buckeyes approach the final week of the regular season in unfamiliar territory: On a losing streak.

For the first time since November and just the second time all season, the No. 8 Buckeyes lost back-to-back games, dropping a 74-62 decision Sunday at No. 22 Michigan.
