Panthers win rivalry game for first time since 2011

Maumee 27, Perrysburg 14

The Panthers (6-4, 4-3) closed out the regular season with a spectacular effort from Devon Cleghorn. The Maumee standout scored four touchdowns on runs of 6, 39, 1, and 8 yards and finished with 51 carries and 301 yards.

Cleghorn accounted for all but 64 of the Panthers’ total yardage in the Northern Lakes League game.

The Yellow Jackets (4-6, 4-3 NLL) picked up a 1-yard touchdown run by Caleb Gerken and a 21-yard TD pass from Drew Sims to Ian Riddle. Sims was 15-for-27 passing for 257 yards to go with one score and two interceptions.

Ty Bezek had eight catches for 103 yards for the Jackets.

Northview 19, Southview 7

Dane Hullibarger ran for 221 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries for the visiting Wildcats in Sylvania. His scores covered 8, 5, and 2 yards.

Brandon Leach completed 7 of 9 passes for 74 yards for Northview (8-2, 5-2).

Southview (2-8, 1-6) was led by Braydon Schmidt. He completed 12 of 22 passes for 89 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown pass to Zech Miller, who finished with six catches for 42 yards.

Bowling Green 19, Napoleon 7

NAPOLEON — Spencer Rader rushed for a pair of touchdowns as the Bobcats defeated the Wildcats.

Rader’s scores came from 1 and 18 yards out. Nick Jackson added a four-yard touchdown run for the Bobcats (5-5, 3-4).

Chasten Wilde had the lone score for the Wildcats (1-9, 0-7) on a 3-yard run.
