NLL Roundup: Fourth quarter push lifts Southview

Kaleb Johnson’s 33-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter provided the winning points for the host Cougars.

Nikko Blackmar got Southview on the board first with a 25-yard field goal, and Nick Harshman added a four-yard touchdown run before halftime.

Brayton Schmidt completed 11 of 22 passes for 127 yards for the Cougars, who got seven carries and 82 yards from Jacob Spurgeon-Hess.

Jackson Shreve led Millington with 22 carries for 88 yards, which included a 50-yard touchdown. Drew Germain added a 50-yard scoring run.

Dublin Coffman 42, Perrysburg 21

DUBLIN — Dublin Coffman won at home through the air, as Ethan Brown completed 6 of 8 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored on a 20-yard run.

Mike Drennen II caight three passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns, and Moussa Diallo finished with 18 carries for 85 yards and a score.

For Perrysburg, Drew Sims completed 18 of 36 passes for 262 yards, including a four-yard score to Preston Evans. Kameron Olds added a pair of one-yard scoring plunges.

Defiance 35, Napoleon 21

NAPOLEON — Chris Fluker, Nick Herzog, Caden Kline, and Aaron Cruz all scored rushing touchdowns as Defiance won on the road.

Simeon Sweeney scored the other touchdown on a 30-yard interception return.

For Napoleon, Wesley Jeffries-Babcock scored on a one-yard run. Telly Blair had a 42-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Warncke, and Mitchell Kruse added a 97-yard kickoff return for a score.
