  • The Toledo Walleye will open their 10th season with five consecutive road games.

Toledo will begin the 2018-19 season at Greenville on Oct. 12-13, then have single games at Indy, Cincinnati, and Fort Wayne before hosting the rival Komets for the home opener Oct. 27.

Toledo plays just one home game in October but has 10 in March.

The Walleye will play Fort Wayne 11 times, with six games at the Huntington Center and five at Memorial Coliseum. The Komets knocked the Walleye out of the playoffs in six games in the Central Division final series earlier this month.

Toledo once again will be a member of the Central Division with the Komets. The bulk of the team's games will come against Fort Wayne and fellow division foes Kalamazoo (12 games), Cincinnati (9), Indy (8), and Wheeling (8).

The Walleye also will play Brampton nine times.

The team will have a season-long eight-game homestand from Jan. 20 to Feb. 10.

Toledo will have 11 games on Fridays and 14 on Saturdays. Thirty-three of the Walleye's 36 home games will be played on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

The organization also will host the ECHL all-star game Jan.21. It will be a weekend long celebration starting Jan. 18, and Toledo will play Fort Wayne on Jan. 20.

Toledo will host Brampton on Black Friday (Nov. 23). It also will have two games between Christmas and the New Year’s holiday season — Brampton on Dec. 27 and Fort Wayne on Dec. 30.

The Walleye will host two School Celebration Days on Nov. 15 and Dec. 5.

The team closes their regular-season schedule April 6, against Brampton before closing the year at Brampton the next day.

All home games begin at 7:15 p.m. with the exception of school celebration days (10:30 a.m. start) and Sunday games (5:15 p.m.).
