Police athletic league to host boxing championships

The Toledo-Lucas County Police Athletic League will host the 2011 National PAL Boxing championships from Oct. 1-8 at the Seagate Convention Centre.

Hundreds of boxers will compete in the Olympic qualifier.

The Toledo PAL, a nonprofit organization, hosted the event back in 2003.
