Utopia seeks entries for its coming exhibit

Utopia Arts Center is announcing a call for entries for its Mixed Media Show. Entries should combine more than one medium, such as textiles and photography, and entrants must be a local or regional artist. Interested artists should bring their finished work to the Utopia Arts Center, 2491 Collingwood Blvd, from 1 to 6 p.m. today-Thursday. The show will be open for viewing from July 31 through Aug. 31 in Utopia's gallery, where hours are 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays. Information: utopiaarts@hotmail.com or 255-8041.

Now showing at Utopia is The Americana Show, featuring Tim Callaghan and Lyn Willis, and the Best of Tuileries Road, featuring Dave Poulsen, Kim Thanasiu, and Katie Chipps.

ArtSpace/Lima in Lima, Ohio, has scheduled Transportation Art and our Love Affair, an exhibit of art of vehicles, Aug. 5 through Sept. 10.
