Contemporary Art Quilts, a display of fiber creations by Joan Rigal, is on view through Sept. 28 in the University of Toledo's Catherine S. Eberly Center for Women, Tucker Hall Room 0180, 2801 West Bancroft St. The Waterville artist and quilt maker is displaying 17 quilts. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. The Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery of the Bowling Green State University Fine Arts Center presents Process Pattern: The Hand-dyed and Digitally Printed Textiles of Ana Lisa Hedstrom and Intersecting Traditions: Recent Textiles by Cynthia Schira. Both exhibits are scheduled to open Friday and run through Sept. 26. The dual exhibition presents the work of Hedstrom and Schira who are known for the innovative ways in which they explore the relationship between handwork and electronic technology in textile design. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Toledo Museum of Art, 2445 Monroe St., is offering several classes for families in the Family Center, including "African Masks" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday; "Make Your Favorite Sculpture Garden" from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 29, and "Make Your Favorite Sculpture Garden Object" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 31. The Toledo Artists' Club Gallery, located at Toledo Botanical Garden, 5403 Elmer Dr., announces the opening of its Still Life & Flowers Show, scheduled to run through Sept. 16. There were 44 artists' works accepted out of 84 entries for the juried show. Gallery hours: 1-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Information: 419-531-4079.

The Jones Building Artists present Artists in Motion from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Coffee Amici in downtown Findlay. This event is open to all artists who can produce art on the move and all spectators interested in watching artists at work.

Also at Coffee Amici through August is a display of photographys and computer graphics by Tess Rooney.

MICHIGAN

Flatlanders Art Galleries, 11993 East U.S. 223, Blissfield, has two exhibits scheduled to open Sunday and run through Oct. 15. Recent prints by Arturo Rodriquez will be on display in the Little Galleries I and II, and a display of recent sculpture by Kenneth Thompson will be mounted in the Garden Gallery. A reception for both artists is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Klemm Gallery, 1247 East Siena Heights Dr., on the campus of Siena Heights University in Adrian, presents Department: Art Faculty Exhibition on view Aug. 31 through Sept. 26. The exhibit features the work of Jean Bartlett, Joseph Bergman, Kira Campbell, Barbara Cervenka, Deborah Danielson, Lois DeMots, Jamie Goode, Niki Havekost, Jean Lash, Paul McMullan, Todd Marsee, Donna Milbauer, Christine Reising, Robert Stranges, and John Wittersheim. A faculty gallery discussion is scheduled at noon Sept. 9, and a reception is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30
