Museum getting a new curator

Amy Gilman has been named the Toledo Museum of Art s new

associate curator of modern and contemporary art.

Gilman is scheduled to join the staff May 10 after she defends her dissertation for her doctorate in art history from Case Western

Reserve University in Cleveland.

The new curator recently completed a fellowship in the European and American Painting and Sculpture department of the Cleveland Museum of Art. She previously served as associate curator and curatorial consultant at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland.
