Miyata prints to mark gallery move

The Paula Brown Gallery, the Paula Brown Shop, and its linen store, now at 137 North Michigan St., will soon have a new home at 912 Monroe St. The 1888 building, originally known as Holland Flats, was designed by Valentine Theater designer Edward Fallis. The first floor of the building is 7,000 square feet. The first exhibition in the new location will showcase some 40 works by the late artist Masayuki Miyata. The display of original Kiri-e (Japanese term which loosely translates in English to 'cut pictures'), serigraph, and woodblock prints will be on display Oct. 20 through Dec. 22. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Information: 419-241-2822 or www.paulabrowngallery.com

Williams County Community Theater is looking for paintings, drawings, and photographs of the various bridges in Williams County for a display to run concurrently with its upcoming show, Same Time Next Year.

The art will be accepted for display on Oct. 24 and 25 at at the Little Theater Off the Square, 208 West Butler St., Bryan. The show will run Oct. 27-Nov. 6.
