Black History Month exhibit to open

20 North Gallery, 20 North St. Clair St., kicks off its 11th annual Black History Month event with an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. On view through Feb. 24 will be paintings, photographs, poetry, and mixed media by R. E. Braziel, Aaron Bivins, Wil Clay, Wade Harrison, Elizabeth Jordan, PamelaJean Patterson, Ramon Tiggs, John Wade, Warren Woodberry, and Yolanda Woodberry. Flatlanders Art Galleries, 11993 East U.S. 223, Blissfield, Mich., is presenting Mille Guldbeck's Transfigurations; Marc Folk's Work from Scotland; Niki Havekost's Careful Measures, and Daniel Stewart's New Tracks on the Mudpath. The Photo Arts Club of Toledo announces its 21st annual photo contest open to all amateur photographers. Entries will be accepted through Feb. 16. The exhibition, which will include all entries, is scheduled Feb. 24-26 in the National Center for Nature Photography in Secor Metropark. Awards will be given by a panel of judges to winning entries in six categories.
