Parkwood Gallery presents works by three artists

The Parkwood Gallery, 1838 Parkwood Ave., Suite 120, will display mixed-media by Olga Nagorny, Krista Wietelmann-Jackson, and Mary Jane Erard, Monday through May 5. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. March 31. Gallery Hours are 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, with special gallery hours noon-4 p.m. on April 1. The University of Toledo presents an exhibition "Images of Optimism from Behind the Walls," through April 15 in the Multicultural Student Center, Room 2500 of the Student Union. The show consists of artwork painted by inmates of the Toledo Correctional Institution as part of a community service project. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Information: 419-530-4624.

The Dayton Art Institute, 456 Belmonte Park North, Dayton, is presenting "Diana, A Public Celebration."

The exhibit, which features nearly 150 of Princess Diana's belongings, including her wedding gown, family heirlooms, paintings, photos, and rare home movies, runs through June 11.

The Emporium, 25 South Huron St., will host Shenanigans, The Art Show at 9:30 tonight. Works of more than 50 local artists will be displayed, and four DJs will spin hits. Tickets at the door are $3 for ages 18 and over.
