Skyscapes to go on display in Ann Arbor

Washington Street Gallery, 120 East Liberty St., Ann Arbor, presents "Shape of the Sky," an exhibit of abstract skyscapes in acrylic, pixels, and pigment by Michelle A. Hegyi, Tuesday through June 25. A reception for the artist will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. June 2. Ford Gallery, 114 Ford Hall, Ypsilanti, presents Eastern Michigan University 2006 Graduate Student Thesis Exhibitions through July 28. The exhibit will feature a different artist each week. The Detroit Institute of Art, 5200 Woodward Ave., Detroit, presents the exhibit "Recent Acquisitions: Prints, Drawings and Photographs," featuring more than 100 works recently acquired by the graphic arts department, through July.
