Silkscreen prints displayed at Toledo cafe

Nurturing and Protective Fruits and Vegetables, Michelle Carlson's flocked silkscreen prints, will be displayed Monday through Aug. 26 at Downtown Latte, 44 South St. Clair St. A reception will be 1 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 6.

Health Insurance 101 for Artists, a free workshop, will be 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9 in the Professional Building, 1838 Parkwood St. Prior registration is required at 419.254.2787, ext. 13 or at badams@acgt.org.

Caesar and Cleopatra, the 1946 film starring Vivian Leigh and Claude Rains, will be screened at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 5 in the Little Theater at the Toledo Museum of Art. At 7 p.m. Aug. 12, the 1963 movie Cleopatra, starring Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and Rex Harrison, will be shown in the theater. Both screenings are free.

Meet Me at TMA, a free monthly program for people who have mild memory loss and their caregivers, will take a look at garden scenes in art at the museum at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 6. Information from the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter: 419-537-1999.

The 54th annual Arts in the Park will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 6 and 7 in Port Clinton's Lakeview Park. Organized by the Port Clinton Artists' Club, the festival will host 140 artists and will feature art demos, a make-and-take craft area for children, and ongoing live entertainment. The park is on Perry Street across from the public beach.
