Perrysburg native to return for art program

Artist Michael Ives, a native of Perrysburg, will be returning to his hometown this month and October as part of The 577 Foundation’s Art-in-Residence program.

Ives will be teaching classes and conducting workshops and lectures on how he became an artist and how he uses new technology to create art, according to a news release sent out by Perrysburg Schools.

Upcoming events include a watercolor class for adults from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., today and tomorrow for $25 and a class on painting on iPads and iPhones from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Oct. 1 for $5.
