Glass artist from Murano to demonstrate technique

Davide Salvadore, a glass artist from the island of Murano in Florence, will demonstrate his technique at 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the Glass Pavilion of the Toledo Museum of Art. He'll also be shooting a 3-D stereoscopic film of fellow glass artists at work.

Also at the museum, a six-course Roman feast, accompanied by fine art, will be the draw at the museum's EpiCuratorial Art Dinner at 6 p.m. March 22 in the Peristyle lobby. Speaking on Roman culture and antiquities will be Carolyn Putney, the museum's director of collections, and Andrea Mall, associate registrar. Tickets are $115. Information: 419-255-8000 ext. 7432.

Video and animation by graduating art majors at Bowling Green State University will be screened from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday in 204 Fine Arts Building. In addition, 2-D and 3-D senior theses projects will be exhibited beginning Sunday in the Bryan and Wankleman galleries through April 3.

Entre Amigos, a fund-raiser for the Sofia Quintero Art & Cultural Center, will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Lighthouse Banquet Hall, 2605 Broadway St. Art and jewelry by Veronica Englert, Leandra Leroux, and Delfina Zapata will be sold.
