Ford exec predicts dealer consolidations

DETROIT With U.S. sales continuing to decline, Ken Czubay, Ford Motor Co. s new vice president of sales and marketing for the domestic brands, says he expects more Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury dealers to be willing to consolidate with others.

The company has no target for reducing the number of outlets, Mr. Czubay said at a recent event for the Lincoln-Mercury dealership council at which the automaker outlined its forecasts and product lineups.
