DETROIT Fiat SpA's chief executive officer may take the top job at Chrysler LLC

under possible scenarios being discussed by the U.S. automaker and the Italian company, according to a report in trade publication Automotive News.

Members of the White House automotive task force may take seats on Chrysler's board, the trade publication said, citing unidentified sources.

Chrysler is working with its secured lenders and the United Auto Workers union on concessions that would allow for a Fiat partnership and enable Chrysler to qualify for as much as $6 billion in further U.S. loans.
