COLUMBUS Ohio s attorney general is filing an objection to the sale of Chrysler LLC s assets to Italian automaker Fiat.

Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray says the sale of Chrysler could create stress on Ohio s workers compensation system.

Cordray said Friday that, if the sale goes through, Ohio s fund could be forced to assume payment of Chrysler s workers comp claims.

Michigan s attorney general filed a similar objection last week to the Chrysler deal.

Bankruptcy Judge Arthur Gonzales in New York responded to the objection filed by Michigan by saying the issue can be resolved if and when he s asked to rule on a final sale.
