ORION TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The White House says President Barack Obama will travel to a suburban Detroit auto plant Friday with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, who's in the U.S. for a state visit expected to focus on trade.

Congress is expected to approve free trade agreements with South Korea, Colombia and Panama that have been pending since George W. Bush was president. The House takes them up Tuesday.

The White House said Monday that Obama and Lee will tour General Motors' Orion (OHR'-ee-un) Assembly Plant on Friday. It's in Oakland County's Orion (OHR'-ee-un) Township.

In a statement, the White House says the leaders will "give remarks on the trade agreement with South Korea" that it says will help create jobs "on both sides of the Pacific. "
