154,000 Lexus SUVs recalled by Toyota

DETROIT -- Toyota Motor Corp. said Friday it will recall 154,000 of its 2010 Lexus RX 350 and RX 450H sport utility vehicles because their floor mats can trap the gas pedal and cause the SUVs to speed up without warning.

Since 2009, Toyota has recalled more than 14 million vehicles globally.
