Federal workplace safety regulators have fined Chrysler Group LLC $38,000 for a violation at the company’s Toledo Assembly Complex.

In its citation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued the fine Aug. 30. In its citation, the agency said Chrysler did not assure employees using forklifts “kept a clear view of the path of travel,” exposing employees to danger.

OSHA said Chrysler has twice before been cited for the same violation at the Toledo plant.
