MARYSVILLE, Ohio — Honda said Wednesday it plans to spend $215 million more to expand operations in Ohio, including $35 million for a new building on its Marysville campus.

The new Marysville building, to be 160,000 square feet, will be used for training and offices, and include a public “heritage center.” This will coincide with the addition of about 60 jobs at the Marysville site related to reorganization of Honda management in North America.

The bulk of investment will be in Anna, Ohio, where Honda has an engine plant. Honda will spend $180 million to expand to include space for engine and transmission technologies, plus worker training.
