Pino named Chrysler 
manufacturing chief

A former plant manager of Chrysler Group LLC’s Toledo Assembly Complex has been named the company’s head of manufacturing in North America.

Mauro Pino is now responsible for all of Chrysler Group’s assembly, stamping, and powertrain manufacturing operations, as well as implementation of the World Class Manufacturing system.

Mr. Pino joined Chrysler from Fiat SpA in 2010 to take over the Toledo Assembly Complex. Chrysler named him head of World Class Manufacturing in February, 2012, promoting Zach Leroux to plant manager in Toledo. Mr. Leroux remains in that position.
