SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Rob Globke scored twice as Notre Dame tallied once in each period to take a 3-2 victory over Bowling Green State Univesity last night in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association game.
The Falcons (10-15-4, 5-12-4) got power-play goals from Mark Barlow and Scot Hewson.
Notre Dame (7-21-5, 4-14-4) scored first on a goal by Connor Dunlop in the first period.
Barlow tied it at 3:38 in the second period on an assist by Hewson. But the Irish regained the lead at 16:01 on a goal by Globke.
The Falcons tied it again when Hewson tallied at 5:35 in the third, with assists from Ryan Murphy and Grady Moore.
But Globke got the game-winner at 12:54.
Bowling Green out shot the Irish 37-34.
The Falcons' Tyler Masters made 31 saves. ND's Tony Zasowki made 35.
The teams meet here again at 7 tonight.
