COLUMBUS - Ohio State jumped to a 2-0 lead over Bowling Green last night and went on to a 6-3 Central Collegiate Hockey Association victory.
The Buckeyes pummeled BG goalie Jordan Sigalet with 50 shots. Ohio State goalie Mike Betz had to make only 15 saves - just two in the opening period.
Other Falcon goals were by Kevin Bieksa (his 5th), Mark Wires (8th) and Roger Leonard (4th) on a power play late in the game.
BG is 5-14-2, 3-11-2 in the CCHA. OSU, led by Doug Andress' two goals, is 16-4-2, 10–2-1.
